Asia,<strong> cockroaches<\/strong>\u00a0have a brown color, a head with long, slender antennae, a thorax covered at the front by a corselet, a crusher-type mouthpiece and are usually between 13 and 16 mm long. Present in many countries, particularly in homes and warehouses, these insects are considered pests.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Mode-de-reproduction\"><\/span>Mode of reproduction<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The cockroach lives approximately six months. Its development breaks down into three main stages: egg, nymph and adult. The nymph is similar to the adult, except that it is smaller and its sexual organs are not yet mature. The female can lay between 3 and 6 heaps, each containing 50 eggs. The passage from egg to adult takes 123 days, or 4 months.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Comment-sen-debarrasser\"><\/span>How to get rid of it<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Cockroaches are usually omnivorous (feed on everything), and are particularly fond of starch, fats and meat. The cockroach has successfully established itself in our buildings and is now more resistant to many control measures.<\/p>\n<p>It has the advantage of no natural predators in the home, invasive reproduction, a short reproductive cycle, sexual maturity in just a few weeks, and the ability to hide in very small shelters. In fact, to be able to <strong>control or completely destroy cockroach populations<\/strong> there are three parts to this process:<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"La-prevention\"><\/span>Prevention<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Dirt is a source of food for cockroaches, so the house must be thoroughly cleaned at all times, including nooks and crannies, bedposts, the kitchen and garbage cans. <strong>\u00a0the number 1 requirement for cockroach control<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Le-traitement-par-vous-meme\"><\/span>Do-it-yourself treatment<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>You need to reduce the temperature and humidity levels in your home. To do this, you need to air out regularly and clean the ventilation system. You can also block the spaces through which cockroaches enter your home (place a mosquito net over your garbage chute, for example, if you have one). The use of products such as egg-targeting insecticides and products containing ladeltamethrin or pyrethrin are highly effective and recommended.
